Each year, it happens: a show that seems undeserving of accolades receives numerous awards while better shows are left behind. This year, the 65th Annual Emmys awards show promises lots of television heavy-hitters, ranging from the comedic to the heart-wrenching. Here’s are our Emmy picks:


Lead Actor, Drama Our prediction –
Breaking Bad: Bryan Cranston This sulky, nice-guy chemistry teacher turned meth-making kingpin has taken audiences on a huge character transformation. Cranston knows he’s the one who knocks.


Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series Our prediction –
Game of Thrones: The Rains of Castamere Because the incredibly traumatizing Red Wedding was as beautifully and artfully done as it could be.


Lead Actress, DramaOur prediction –
Mad Men:
Elisabeth Moss

Lead Actress, Comedy Our prediction – 30 Rock:Tina Fey Liz Lemon lives in our hearts–long after the series finale in January.
